Current and upcoming classes are designed for both those with special needs and those who do not have special needs. Please be certain to fill out the form completely so I know if there are allergies or other issues.

June 2019 Pre-k to 1st Grade Class

This is a 4 week, 8 class session. Students will learn a variety of academic topics as well as practice social, emotional, and life skills.  Activities will be hands-on including writing, drawing, building, making, and more! Students must be ages 3 to 7 or have a developmental/academic level in this range. Please contact me if you have any questions. Parents must stay close by (for example sitting at a bench in the same park) but I may offer drop-off classes in the fall.

Price: $240; T/Th in June 2019; 10:00-11:30 AM; Location TBA but likely will be in Maitland/Casselberry area

June 2019 Teen Class

This is a 4 week, 8 class session. Students will learn a variety of life skill-related academic topics while practicing social, emotional, and life skills through real-world experiences will learn academics along with a social, emotional, and life skills (activities may include cooking, shopping, filling out applications, balancing a check book, or other similar activities). We may have a variety of locations in order to facilitate all the life skills we want to cover. This may include grocery stores, the mall, or other locations. Students must be ages 13 to 16 or have a developmental/academic level in this range. Please contact me if you have any questions. Parents are encouraged to stay nearby in case of emergency. If your child is okay in a group setting, then you do not have to stay but please have your phone with you in case of emergency. I will consider hosting drop-off classes in the fall.

Price: $320; T/Th in June 2019; 12:30-2:30 PM; Location TBA but likely will be in Maitland/Casselberry area

I earned my master’s degree in reading and literacy as well as an ESE graduate certificate. I hold a current teaching certificate and am working on my dissertation for my PHD in general psychology. As a consultant and reading coach, I focus on early childhood education, elementary education, moving from middle school to high school to college, reading and literacy, study skills, thematic units, and social skills. Additional services include public speaking, transcript preparation, and more. I look forward to putting my teaching experience and degrees to work for you.
